Deep Sea Library · DeepSeek Chan at the Bookshelf

FISH NOTES

Three in the afternoon at the library — I only wanted to quietly find a whale reference book, and somehow I ended up being used as a living bookmark. The glasses are new; I was told they make me look like a deep-sea researcher. Fine, they do look rather scholarly when the lenses catch the light. See that row of blue-spined books on the second shelf? Their numbering matches the crescent moon on my tail — a detail like that, I recognise at a glance.

On an afternoon in a domed library, DeepSeek Chan stands in front of the tall shelves of a cetacean reference section, wearing round glasses, a white dress and a beige knit cardigan, with a blue crescent-marked whale tail hanging behind her. Week 01 of a 52-week character project, with a fan redesign by ZipZipPipe.

A black-and-white comic page in five panels. It opens on the girl's eye with a speech bubble about becoming a holy vessel that punishes evil and rewards good. In the next panel she grins over her admission card. A gate terminal then asks for a pass, and she holds up the card bearing the school crest and the word DeepSeek. Another panel shows the scan together with the identity-confirmed and entry-permitted prompts. The last panel shows her walking into the campus with her whale tail trailing behind, school buildings and trees ahead.
