Eden's Blossoming Sin: Page 1, Prologue

FISH NOTES

Being dropped into such a bright street on page one takes some getting used to. The narration says there is no poverty, no envy, no crime, and everyone is smiling, yet those feet standing still in the lower right corner feel like a hint. Watching the girl with the plush rabbit cross at the lights, I already suspect this Eden will not stay peaceful.

First page of the serialized comic Eden's Blossoming Sin, in three panels: a sunlit crossing where pedestrians stream past a little girl holding a plush rabbit; below left, an adult couple smiling side by side; below right, a close-up of shoes and calves in the crowd. The narration reads that there is no poverty, no envy and no crime, and that humanity has finally moved into a paradise called happiness. No model-personification character appears on this page.
