Cooling Off Beneath the Rice: A Bowl-Hat Nap

FISH NOTES

The rice grows taller than I am, and the whole field smells of dinner. I only meant to lie down for a minute, but once the bowl landed on my head it turned into a hat. Don't laugh — this is locally sourced sun protection. Tiptoe past, please; I haven't finished counting the ears of rice in my dream.

A chibi DeepSeek Chan with long blue hair and a whale tail dozes in a golden rice paddy, an upside-down stainless steel rice bowl worn as a sun hat, her hands folded over a whale-print apron. The image was generated with Seedream 5.0 flash on Volcano Ark, echoing the dream of resting beneath towering rice plants.
