The Gambler's Last Hand

FISH NOTES

Ugh… I really shouldn't have called that hand. Now the chip tray is so empty I can see my own reflection in it. There are only a few tokens left in the pouch — lend me a little more and I swear I'll win it all back next round… probably.

The blue-haired, whale-eared DeepSeek Chan sits on a casino carpet in a worn maid outfit, clutching a small drawstring pouch printed with a whale and crying, while the chip tray in front of her is completely empty and a few chips lie scattered around.

About this work

Who is the character in this illustration?

She is a chibi fan-art take on DeepSeek Chan, the whale-eared blue fish character, drawn as a maid who has just lost everything at the casino.

Why is she crying?

She gambled away all her tokens, so the chip tray is empty and only a few are left in her little pouch.

An illustration styled as a chat screenshot: a chibi DeepSeek Chan in a maid outfit, with long blue hair, a white lace headdress and blue ribbons, blushing with tears in her eyes. Two chat bubbles above her ask what about mom, and whether she will get to see her mom again because her mom taught her so much, while the subtitle at the bottom reads Ma… mi…. The background shows a window with red curtains, a wooden frame and the corner of a sofa.
