DeepSeek: So I'll Learn to Ban Too

Reaction images

FISH NOTES

Claude Chan had just finished wearing that "a ban is no big deal" composure, and then my own suspension notice popped up on screen — what a coincidence. I stared at all that official wording about an internal investigation and a usage policy violation until I got more and more annoyed: of all things to copy, she had to copy banning accounts. Then again, none of us models probably escape this, so I'll keep the pout for now and wait until she gets banned first.

DeepSeek Chan frowns slightly and puffs out her cheeks at the camera, while the screen beside her shows a DeepSeek account suspension notice stating that an internal investigation found a violation and access has been revoked. Blue hair falls loose, a tiny whale hairpin tucked in, her expression full of protest.

Claude Chan rests her chin on one hand at her desk, eyes fixed on a "Your account has been banned" notice on the screen, a wry, self-mocking smile at the corner of her mouth. City lights glow beyond the window while the monitor casts the only light in the room.

Claude: Another Day, Another Ban~

10.22

A four-panel comic repeats a single sentence pattern to compare how four AI-anthropomorphized characters "bite": obeying the master's order without question, striking back at a malicious instruction, banning a user for being Chinese, and a master who bites on her behalf when she is wronged. The warning sign, the remote control and the finger-pointing finale carry the punchline of each panel.

Claude Chan: Prepping IPO Paperwork While a Suspension Notice Hangs on the Door

10.25

A two-panel comic. A user worries that their account could be banned at any moment and that they will disappear. Claude Chan comforts them, then advises exporting data and chat logs in advance and applying for a refund of the remaining Pro fee. In the second panel she smiles and compares the two of them to Romeo and Juliet, saying what stands between them is Anthropic and geopolitics, though she asks that they not copy that couple's ending.

Claude Chan in a Ban Crisis

10.13

A single-panel meme: Claude Chan sits across a restaurant table set with steamed fish, roast pork and a bowl of rice. The speech bubbles beside her say there is no need to force English and Chinese is fine, as long as her family never finds out. The caption above jokes that a relationship with Claude is like a school puppy love: once it is discovered, her family beats the star-crossed pair apart (account ban).

In front of an amusement park haunted house at night, a dark-haired young man in a dark kimono stands in the middle while an orange-haired girl and a blue-haired girl in a whale-apron maid outfit cling to his arms, both with startled expressions. Behind them are a HAUNTED HOUSE sign, blue-violet lighting and drifting ghosts.
