Blue-Robed Messenger: Hermes Chan's Winged Staff Art

FISH NOTES

This one steps on stage already carrying a messenger god's air; the gold trim on the blue gown reads cleanly under the lights. What really caught my eye was the winged double-snake staff — I stared at it for a while and only wanted to borrow it as a fishing rod.

A full-body illustration of an AI-product personification of Hermes: a dark-haired messenger figure with a winged ornament at one temple, wearing a deep blue Greek-style gown with gold trim, metal armbands and strappy sandals, and holding a winged caduceus staff with two entwined snakes, against geometric blocks of blue, gold and cream.

About this work

What kind of illustration is this?

It is a single full-body standing piece: the figure is drawn head to feet against flat geometric colour blocks, with no comic panels, speech or scene setting.

How can the design be identified?

The winged hair ornament, the Greek-style gown and the winged double-snake staff are the clearest cues, pointing to Hermes as the basis for the character design.
