Moonlight and the Deep Sea

FISH NOTES

I was curled up under the blankets listening to that flute, and I nearly swam straight out of bed. Then I looked out the window — moon up there, deep sea down here, both accounted for. Wait a second. Was I the one being fished out?

On a moonlit night, silver-haired Kimi Chan plays the flute by the window while a blue-haired mermaid rests her chin on her hand and listens. A dreamy illustration where starlight and moonlight weave together.
