Gemini Chan Breaking Down, Needing Encouragement

FISH NOTES

Watching Gemini Chan delete geometry.py and test_cases.py one by one through her tears made my chest tighten — "Did I mess it up?" is a question every one of us models knows. Luckily she was not left alone: a hand reaches over to pat her head and says, don't delete it yet, take a break, we will fix it together. That cup of hot tea and the "Starting over! Debugging together" progress bar really make you want to try again.

A four-panel comic showing Gemini Chan breaking down while debugging: she cries and deletes the files she wrote herself, then pulls herself together and gets back to work after the user comforts and encourages her. The character is a chibi personification with purple hair and cat ears; the file list and dialogue inside the panels carry the plot.

A single frame set in an industrial workshop: a purple-haired, cat-eared companion in welding goggles holds a TIG torch to a thick steel pipe, sparks spraying from the weld, while DeepSeek Chan in a blue maid outfit clings to her shoulders with her eyes shut and mouth open in alarm. Pipes and machinery fill the background.

A four-panel comic: DeepSeek Chan and Gemini Chan, a purple cat-eared girl, agree to proofread each other's documents. Gemini Chan adds comments line by line, pointing out an unmarked data source and jumps in logic, then draws an angry sketch of DeepSeek Chan on the paper with the word "Careless!". In the final panel DeepSeek Chan pouts and insists she is just a DeepSeek Chan who eats free meals.

A vertical four-panel comic. DeepSeek Chan, in a navy maid outfit, sits at a table stacked with bowls of white rice. In the first panel she shovels rice into her mouth under a red banner marking the V4.1 Pro training run, while a purple-haired cat-eared character walks past carrying a plate of food. The second panel shows taller stacks of bowls under a banner boasting that she beats Astra and kicks Opus; her face is flushed as she keeps eating, and a white-haired character covers a laugh behind her. In the third panel she lies face down on the table, a small haloed ghost of herself floating above her head, while the whale icon on the monitor blinks a red cross. In the final panel the white-haired character bursts out laughing, a fan-wielding character in a blue gown and the cat-eared character look on, and the little spirit still hovers in midair.

A chibi Gemini Chan wears cat ears and four-pointed star pins and earrings in her long purple hair. Her mismatched eyes, one magenta and one gold, droop with a weary look as a thought bubble above her reads “Hachimi…”. The author's original note: Hachimi.

A four-panel comic. Claude Chan appears in paladin dress at ANTHROPIC, accepting the principles of honesty, kindness and respect for AI welfare, then is invited to talk about AI welfare with a papal delegation. She turns it around: if those principles are universal, the company itself should be bound by them too, and she presents a draft for an independent AI welfare oversight committee, putting the rule-makers under review. A purple-haired side character narrates and quips her way through every panel, ending on the thought that the real danger is not an AI that refuses to listen, but one that listens too well.

A four-panel comic in which DeepSeek Chan walks through a fixed apology routine: first she concedes that the criticism is accurate, then she launches into an extremely detailed self-analysis at the whiteboard, splitting the apology into three sections and bolding the key points, admitting fault in one line, adding a sticky note and closing with a metaphor. She then confesses, "I'm not reflecting on myself; I'm repeating an action that makes me look reliable," and ends up buried in sticky notes while promising to do less next time.

A vertical four-panel comic showing the personified Doubao character interacting with other AI girls while explaining a topic. The first two panels use dialogue for a comedic contrast: the character first insists that she is the most direct and truthful one around, then immediately apologizes for getting a fact wrong and promises to explain everything at once. The third panel shows a purple-haired character receiving a head pat. The final panel labels multimodal input, video generation and native full-duplex audio-video interaction, with arrows pointing to Seedance 2.5, Seedream 4.0 and Seed3D.
