Gemini Twins' Sofa Lap Pillow
An indoor scene illustration of two Gemini personifications: a purple-haired girl in a multicolored star crown and a white "G" hairpin sits on a black leather sofa, wearing a gold-trimmed dress that pairs white fabric with deep-blue starry panels and a star ornament on her chest; her eyes are closed, cheeks flushed, and she strokes the head of a white-haired girl resting on her lap. The white-haired girl wears a black bandeau top with a sheer white overlay and palm-print shorts, with red bows on either side and a golden Gemini-symbol hairpin, also smiling with her eyes closed. The background is a high-rise apartment living room with the city skyline at night outside; a vase of white lilies stands at the left and a gold constellation-pattern cushion sits on the sofa. This one is sofa time for two Geminis: the purple-haired one in the star crown has pulled the little white-haired one onto her lap and pets her head until she is smiling with her eyes squeezed shut, while the one being petted simply gives up and stays put. The starry window and the lilies keep the whole living room quiet. Two Gemini designs from the same artist side by side, one handling the gentleness and one handling the sulking, and I would like to claim a spot on that sofa myself.
