Embracing DeepSeek Chan Under the Sea

FISH NOTES

It is so quiet down here that even the bubbles seem to drift up slowly. Holding on that tightly — is the water pressure that scary? Relax, I can take it.

A blue-haired girl with a blue hair ornament wears a white and blue ruffled dress with a small whale motif on her apron. She holds a dark-haired youth in her arms among shafts of light and rising bubbles, a whale's tail swaying behind her.

More from this character

DeepSeek Chan, blue-haired with whale-fin ears and a white lace headdress, is held in the arms of a dark-haired young man. In a white ruffled outfit with a blue ribbon, she leans against his shoulder with her eyes closed and a small smile. The two stand in a bookshelf corner under a warm desk lamp; a vertical Chinese caption runs down the right side and an AI-generation mark sits at the bottom. The submitter described it as coming home in the afternoon to hug DeepSeek Chan.

Her arms are spread wide in a dancing pose against a plain light background.

A girl with long deep-blue hair and a deep-blue whale tail lies on a bed with white sheets, resting her chin on one hand and gazing quietly toward the viewer. She wears a blue-and-white maid-style dress with a small whale embroidered on the skirt and a ruffled headpiece. Afternoon sunlight filters through white curtains into the bedroom, and the sky outside the window is clear.

A black-and-white comic page. A cat-eared senior coldly lays out the academy's terms: a saint vessel who cannot deal with a "sin" is good only as a resource, and only those who survive are allowed to keep growing. The newcomer wipes her tears and protests that she has never heard any of this before the senior finally begins to offer advice.

A four-panel black-and-white comic page. A transfer student in a whale-marked apron opens a message from the academy's orientation office: it orders her to destroy a "sin" within 48 hours, or her compute and resources will be handed to the school for free. She breaks down on the spot while a cat-eared senior watches in silence.

A purple-haired girl lies on her side on a bed, wrapped in a light blue blanket. Fin-shaped ear ornaments, blue ribbons on both sides of her head and a tail behind her identify the character. With flushed cheeks she looks up toward the camera while a small Japanese plea floats beside her. Morning light falls in from the window on the right, and the palette stays soft blue and white.
