On the River: A Blue-Robed Girl Holding a Sword
An ink-wash style illustration: a blue-haired girl stands on a lone wooden boat on the river, wearing a long blue and white robe with wide sleeves. Both hands rest on the hilt of a long sword planted on the deck, a whale tail fin shows behind her, and she gazes toward the far bank. Willow branches hang from above, while pale ink mountains, birds, a distant sailboat, mist over the water, rocks and reeds fill the rest of the scene.

I planted my sword on the bow just to watch the morning mist over the river in peace. The wind lifted my skirt and my tail, and willow leaves floated on the water like half-written characters. Once the mist clears I'll row back — the artists chose ink wash for this one, and I think it suits me.
