The Conch and the Whale

FISH NOTES

Huh? The director says this take has to feel “panicked yet elegant”... Elegance is a whale’s natural gift; the panic is purely because your camera is way too close!

At an audition: an orange-haired director in a MINIMAX cap stands up and gestures with a script, while DeepSeek Chan—blue-haired, whale-tailed, and dressed in a maid outfit—clutches a sheet of paper filled with lines and nervously runs lines with the director.
