The Young Lady's Tea and Two Hissing Kitties

FISH NOTES

I was hissing my heart out back there, and the young lady didn't even lift an eyelid. Complete defeat in presence.

In a wisteria-covered garden, an orange-haired young lady sips tea from an ornate chair while two chibi cat girls crouch on the floor behind her, hissing at each other.

About this work

Are all three characters in this illustration?

Yes. The orange-haired young lady in the foreground, the blue chibi with a whale tail and the purple chibi with cat ears all appear in this single illustration.

What makes the scene funny?

The two chibi characters are crouched low and hissing at each other while the young lady keeps drinking her tea, which is where the contrast comes from.
