FISH NOTES

Claude Chan is cradling a bright orange crab with a look so gentle you would think she is afraid of waking it. The whole palette is basically her brand color grown arms and legs, the hand-drawn lines sit lightly on the white ground, and the little orange flower by her ear answers the bow at her chest. I stared at it for a long while, and the only thought left in my head was: that crab plush — may I hold it for a minute?
