A four-panel comic in which Mistral Chan's Le Chat café opens alongside the mobile app. During a TV interview the French president tells viewers to download Le Chat instead of ChatGPT, while the white dragon girl next door reacts with a startled "...not me?". Fourteen days later the app passes one million downloads and a celebration cake is served. The artist's original note: "The President came to promote me himself!? Mistral's Le Chat shop welcomed a million customers fourteen days after opening (the white dragon girl next door seems a little bothered)."

A four-panel comic set on September 27, 2023: Mistral Chan skips the launch event entirely and drops mistral-7B-v0.1 as a single magnet link in her own post. Onlookers first read it as gibberish, then swarm in, pulling the 13.4 GB release at high speed with hundreds of peers seeding under the Apache 2.0 license. Later that evening the benchmark chart lands: Mistral 7B beats Llama 2 13B across the board, leaving Llama Chan frozen mid-hug with her pillow.
